While its capabilities extend beyond medical imaging to modelling, numerical simulation and visualization, GIMIAS provides powerful processing and visualization capabilities in medical imaging. Imaging capabilities include multimodal interactive 3D visualization, image analysis and functional analysis, volume and surface rendering, and a large and growing number of plugin tools. GIMIAS is also capable of acting as a DICOM PACS client. |
